Built within the resort’s grounds, the 18-hole Par 72 golf course stretches along 5,924 metres between the Morne Mountains and the crystal-clear lagoon of the Morne Peninsula. Golfers tee off a mere 20 meters from the beach and Reception area and play the fairways towards the mountain. Much of the design of the bunkers and fairways is attributable to international golf legend Tony Johnstone who has spent some years playing the course. The right grass to suit the climate, the greens are planted with Seashore Paspalum, an ideal turf for the tropics. The elegant clubhouse has a bar, where players can enjoy cool refreshments between rounds of golf. A dedicated Golf Director is responsible for the professional management of all aspects of the Golf Club.

Umkomaas Golf Club is a challenging golf course testing to even the higher handicapped golfers. Umkomaas Golf Course is the first golf course on the Golf Coast circuit and one of the oldest golf courses in KwaZulu Natal. Umkomaas hosts one of the toughest par 4′s in the country and the 18th hole ranks as one of the most testing finishing holes anywhere in the world. The Umkomaas Golf Course also offers spectacular ocean views. The golf course was designed by R Grimsdell in 1913.
